Announcing our charitable bike ride - Journey West!

We’ve had something cooking at Kairos for a little while and we’re finally able to reveal exactly what it is…

Journey West 🚵🏼‍♂️

On Friday, 11th October, team Kairos will embark on a mammoth cycle ride, totalling 100+ miles, traversing hilly terrain, throughout North Devon. Camping sites located along the route will provide shelter and accommodation, there’ll be no hotels or Airbnb here.

The reasons we’re doing this bike ride are simple, 1. to raise money for our partner charities Chestnut Tree House and North Devon Hospice, 2. we all need to be a little fitter. Put those two together and a charitable bike ride sounds like the ideal combination.

Managing director at Kairos Global, Sam Southon said: “we’ve had this idea for a while and we’re so excited to turn it into a reality. Supporting our partner charities is a high priority for us and our events background lends itself perfectly to this type of fundraising activity. The premise is simple, we cycle from one office, in East Sussex, to our other, in North Devon.”

“We expect it to be an extremely gruelling yet picturesque ride across all sorts of terrain, though we’re absolutely up for the challenge. Unfortunately, I can’t say we’ll be cycling back,“ he continued.

The ride itself marks the first fundraising activity from Kairos Global of this scale, having previously taken part in Movember to raise money to support men struggling with health issues.
